Fiona is 1 Month!

Well - Fiona is now one month old!  It has been a whirlwind of a month...Mac was back to work but the kids (all THREE!) had a blast.  Elliot and Weston continued their swimming lessons and Elliot started going to pre-K 4 days a week (Big Girl!!). Weston started gymnastics classes and LOVES running around with his teacher Justin.  With the kitchen (mostly) done we have been able to enjoy the last few nice days of September and have spent a lot of time in the back yard grilling, picking tomatoes and hoping our watermelons would ripen (-ish).   Madison unfortunately hurt her right leg and had to undergo ACL surgery again - we knew this was a likely event but still is a bummer to see her down and out again.

Wes and Elliot are loving on baby Fiona.  Wes has become more interested with time.  Elliot still is obsessed with the baby.  At one point Elliot was walking around the house nursing her baby doll and Wes....well no lie, was walking around trying to nurse his dump truck.  Yes Wes has an obsession with trucks and cars and now puts his cars to sleep and feeds them just like Elli does to her dolls :)

We took our first family hike with Fiona to Wahclella Falls.  Elliot now has graduated to "solo hiking" as the carriers are taken by the little siblings.  She is a champ but occasionally needs to get "motivated" a bit.  We closed out the trip with stop at Sugar Pine Drive through with grilled cheese and ice cream...what is not to love!

Fiona remains a fantastic baby.  She is growing well (85% percentile!) and actually will sleep some nights for 3-4 hours at a time.  Wes still was the best sleeper of the 3. She is mostly happy during the day and very tolerant of her brother and sister doting over her.  The chaos continues but mostly we are holding things together.  Onwards!

Fiona has the best "red face" when she is about to start crying/yelling.  YOu can see her wake up from a nap, start to make a sour face, face turns BRIGHT red, then she wakes up crying.  You know when its coming and watch out!  She also has the cutest gas that makes her cry.  Her hair still has a tint of red so we will see if that holds out.  She continues to have  gas smiles which we all find adorable.  She loves baths and sitting in the warm water...as long as she is warm.

Fiona Likes:
-MILK AND MORE MILK...she is a champ at eating
-Walks in the baby carrier
-Being warm and snuggly
-Dry butt

Fiona Dislikes:
-Longer than 2 hours between eating
-Elliot and Wes getting too up close and personal with her
-Wet butt
